FREDERICKSBURG, Md. - The Arcadia University women's swim team opened its 2019-20 campaign with a 170-92 dual meet victory over Hood Saturday afternoon, led by
Madison McKay's three event victories and two from
Claire Hamilton to lead the Knights past the Blazers.

INDIVIDUAL RESULTS

Megan Hupp provided the Knights' first event win with a 11:46.19 in the 1,000-yd freestyle.

Claire Hamilton took first in the 200-yd freestyle (2:05.21) with Rebekah Brown following in second (2:08.57).
-
Rachel Samson got to the wall first in the 200-yd butterfly (2:25.58).
-The Knights took the first four spots in the 50-yd freestyle, with McKay leading the way at 25.93. McKay also went on to win the 100-yd free, getting back to the wall at 58.62.
-Hamilton returned to pick up her second win of the afternoon in the 500-yd free (5:40.34).
-McKay produced her third event win of the meet in the 100-yd fly (1:04.36).
-Samson capped off the individual events by taking first in the 200-yd individual medley (2:21.34).
-The freestyle relay team of
Bailey Babarsky, McKay, Hamilton and Samson was first to the wall to cap the meet at 1:48.45.
