HOW IT HAPPENED

-The Knights took the first set 25-12 against the Yellow Jackets, thanks to a 10 point run led by three kills from Enfield, a service ace from senior Emily Eng, and errors by Randolph-Macon. A pair of kills by junior Allison Elechko, along with a service ace from junior Julia Paliwodzinski and a kill from freshman Kayleigh McDonough sealed the 25-12 first set victory for Arcadia.

-Randolph-Macon kept the second set close, but the Knights pulled away with a 25-23 win. After a service error by Arcadia, an Enfield Kill, a service ace by Eng, and a kill apiece from senior Kaylee Bumpus and freshman Michelle Frank put the Knights ahead. Arcadia quickly regained the lead thanks to a kill from Elechko and a few Yello Jacket errors. Randolph-Macon wasn't finished, as two Cunningham kills, a service ace from Madison Warlick, and a kill from Alexia Wolfe helped put Randolph-Macon ahead 21-18. Arcadia came back to tie the set at 23, and eventually won the second set with a kill from Enfield and two attack errors from the Yellow Jackets.

-Randolph-Macon game out with a fire and took the third set, 25-20. The Yellow Jackets went on a four point run, but the Knights battled back with kills from Enfield and Elechko. After conceding the lead again, the Knights came back to tie the set with kills from Frank, junior Maddie Hall, and a service ace from sophomore Jazlyn Surell. Randolph-Macon pulled ahead and, despite five consecutive points from the Knights, kept the lead to take the third set.
