Women's Swimming Posts Dominant Effort in Dual Meet Victory Over Albright

GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's swimming team bounced back in a big way Saturday afternoon at Lenox Pool, defeating visiting Albright in a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) dual meet, 172.5-88.5. Rachel Samson paced the Knights with three individual event victories, while Claire Hamilton followed with two of her own.

The Knights also took the three top spots at the podium in the 200-yard medley relay to start off Saturday's meet.

INDIVIDUAL RESULTS

-Samson paced the Knights' contingent all afternoon by producing victories in the 200-yard backstroke (2:23.55), 200-yard butterfly (2:28.92) and 200-yard individual medley (2:22.14).
-Hamilton set a pair of season-bests in her two event wins, which included the 50-yard (26.46) and 100-yard freestyle (57.09).
-Madison McKay took first in the 200-yard freestyle (2:04.04) and set a season-best in the 200-yard IM (2:24.35) in a runner-up effort.
