DALLAS, Pa. -- The 13th-ranked Arcadia men's volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 win at Misericordia on Tuesday evening.

Arcadia won 25-17, 25-18, 25-23 and moved the Knights to 15-4 on the season and 5-0 in MAC play. The Cougars fell to 8-7 overall and 1-2 in conference play.

Austin Braas, the nation's leader in hitting percentage at .553 entering the match, led the Knights with eight kills and hit .800 on the night. He added six blocks, including a pair of solo efforts.
Jason Manley had seven kills and four blocks, and
Edwin Waters Jr. and
Quinn Baily each contributed six kills.

Anthony Devantier led the Scarlet & Grey with 20 assists, and
Alvyn Abraham chipped in eight.
Jarod Pichler led AU with eight digs.

The Knights set the tone early, taking a 7-0 lead in the first set. Misericordia never got back in the set, and a 5-0 run late in the set turned a 14-7 lead into a 19-7 advantage.

In the second set, the score was knotted at 11-11 before used a 5-2 run to assume a 15-13 advantage. Arcadia got a kill from Braas, a service ace from
Evan Misal and a kill from
Robie Moctezuma to extend its lead to 19-14 and effectively seal the win.

Trailing 11-9 in the third set, a Misericordia service error followed by an attack error knotted the set at 11-11. Baily struck an ace for 12-11 lead, and after the Cougars pulled even at 12-12, an Abraham kill followed by a pair of Cougar miscues gave AU a 15-12 lead.

Misericordia stormed back and took a 22-20 lead before the Knights righted the ship. An attack error followed by a block from Pichler and
Amadeus Cannon tied the set at 22-22. Another attack error pushed the Knights in front 23-22 and Pichler gave AU a 24-22 lead, and after a Cougar point, sealed the win with another kill.

The Knights are back in action next Wednesday at Alvernia beginning at 7 p.m.
