GLENSIDE, Pa. -- The Arcadia men's volleyball team wasted little time in posting a 3-0 win at Widener on Wednesday evening. The Knights dispatched the Pride 25-13, 25-12, 25-16.

With the win, the Knights, who are receiving votes in the latest AVCA Top 15, improved to 10-4 on the season and 1-0 in the MAC Commonwealth, while Widener slipped to 0-2 overall and 0-1 in league play.

The Knights dominated throughout, hitting .343 as a team and seeing 10 different players record at least one kill.
Amadeus Cannon led the team with six kills and added four service aces.
Jarod Pichler had five kills and hit .500, while
Austin Braas and
Edwin Waters Jr. each had four kills.
Anthony Devantier (14) and
Alvyn Abraham (13) paced the team in assists.

Colin Nissley led the Knights with four blocks and
Angelo Giuffrida had three.

The Pride hit -.050 as a team, including -.111 in the first set as AU set the tone early. The second set featured a 10-0 run by the Knights as AU turned a 10-9 lead into a 20-9 advantage. In the third, it was a 6-1 run that extended the Knights' lead from 9-7 to 15-8 en route to the win.

Wil Cacciatore led all players with seven kills. Alex Arnow had 14 assists, and Connor Johnson came up with 10 digs.

The Knights are back in action on Saturday in a tri match with Wilson and Pratt Institute.
