Hilton Head, S.C. -- The Arcadia women's tennis squad eased to a 9-0 victory over Wisconsin Lutheran Tuesday evening in Hilton Head, S.C.

The Scarlet & Grey swept all three doubles matches with wins, in order, by Tess Weber at Julia Paraboschi at No. 1 (8-2), Maeghan Myers and Emily Cruz-Pineda at No. 3 (8-5), and Casey Boldt and Alex Volkov at No. 2 (8-6).

In the singles portion, the Knights swept again, all in straight sets. The Knights recorded resounding victories at Nos. 1, 2, and 3, not giving up more than three games in any match. Weber won 6-2, 6-3 at No. 1, Paraboschi secured a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 2, and Cruz-Pineda won 6-3, 6-2 at No. 3.

Boldt won 6-0, 6-4 at No. 4 in another easy victory. Maeghan Myers was pushed a little at No. 5, eventually earning a 6-3, 7-5 win over Katrarina Volkmann, and Alex Volkov's win at No. 6 made it a clean sweep for AU.

Arcadia's 9-0 win marks the second time the team has recorded a clean win in the 2018-2019 academic year, with the other instance occurring during the fall season versus Cabrini on September 27.

The women return to action Wednesday night as they face-off against Marian University-Indianapolis. First serve is set for 7 p.m. in Hilton Head, S.C.
