READING, Pa. -- The Arcadia women's lacrosse team dropped a 15-14 OT contest at Alvernia on Saturday.

The Knights held leads of 11-8 and 14-11 in the second half, but three goals in the final 9:47 for Alvernia, including the game-tying goal as time expired, allowed the Golden Wolves to force overtime. In overtime, the Knights'
Jess Kaye won the opening draw control, but an Arcadia turnover gave possession to the Golden Wolves with 1:35 to play. Rachel Judge, who scored the game-tying goal in regulation, netted the game-winner with 45 seconds to play.

Julia Imbert scored four times for the Knights, eclipsing the 100-point mark for her career.
Nicole Kress and Kaye each scored three times. Kaye had eight draw controls, Imbert added three, and
Kirsten Pedicone added three caused turnovers with four ground balls.
Caroline Toner chipped in a pair of caused turnovers and scooped up four ground balls.

Three of Imbert's four goals came in the first 15 minutes as the Knights built an early 4-1 lead. After the Golden Wolves came back to tie the game at 5-5, Imbert gave the Scarlet & Grey the lead once more (6-5) with 6:10 left in the first half. The two teams went into the break tied at 7-7.

In the second half, a 4-1 to open play staked the Knights to an 11-8 lead.
Michaela Ferlow scored twice for AU during the run. Alvernia answered with a 3-1 burst to make it a one-goal game (12-11) with 12:38 left, but Kress seemed to give the Knights some breathing room with back-to-back goals at 11:25 and 10:31 for a 14-11 lead.

For the game, shots were even at 35 apiece, and the Knights held a 22-17 lead in ground balls. Arcadia also had a 17-13 advantage in draw controls.

Lauren Bunch made 12 saves in the cage for the Knights. Kathrine Giannaras made 16 for the Golden Wolves. Ericka Whitmoyer (3g/4a) and Brittany Defibaugh (5g) led the Alvernia offense, and the duo came up with a combined 10 draw controls.
