Box Score LANCASTER, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's volleyball team won its season opener versus SUNY Geneseo, 3-1, on Friday night.

Lauren Enfield led the way for the Knights with a team-best 19 kills, while Allison Elechko had 13 kills. Maddie Sehrt and Shannon Ryan also recorded double-digit kills with 11 and 10, respectively.

Julia Paliwodzinski was the squads assist leader with 44 assists. Jazlyn Surell added five assists to the team's total, while Emily Eng had three. 

On the defensive side, Paliwodzinski rounded out a stellar night with a team-best 25 digs. Eng was second on the team with 18 digs, while Mackenzie Hale had 14. Shert also had a dominant defensive performance with a team-high five blocks.

The Knights continue their opening weekend schedule with two more matches at the Franklin & Marshall Scrambler. Arcadia will be tasked with two teams from last year's NCAA Tournament in Mary Washington and Franklin & Marshall. The squad plays its opening contest at noon, before battling Franklin & Marshall in the weekend finale at 2:30 PM.
