Men's Volleyball Tops Kean in Three Sets

UNION, NJ - The Arcadia University men's volleyball team picked up a key road victory at Kean University, 3-0, on Tuesday night. Dan Paraskevov tallied a team-high 12 kills, while Anthony Devantier had a team-high 33 assists. On the defensive side, Robie Moctezuma collected a game-high six blocks, while Quinn Baily, Devantier and Paraskevov had eight digs.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kean put together a 5-2 run midway through the first set to jump out to an 18-15 lead. Following an Arcadia timeout, the Knights answered with three-straight points to tie the game. Angelo Giuffrida capped off a 3-0 run with a service ace to put the Knights ahead, 22-21. Arcadia went on to claim victory with consecutive kills from Jarod Pichler and Austin Braas, 29-27.

- The Knights carried momentum into the second set with a 9-3 run to open the stanza. Arcadia put together a 6-2 run midway through the second half to take a 17-9 lead, which forced the Cougars to burn their first time out. The Knights went on the coast to a 25-12 victory to take a two set advantage.

- Arcadia forced the Cougars to take an early timeout with a 6-1 rally to pull ahead 14-11. Despite a late run from the Cougars, the Knights wrapped up the set with a Pichler kill to finish the three-set sweep, 25-23.
