GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's soccer team defeated FDU-Florham, 3-1, on Wednesday night at Jean Lenox West Field. The Knights got their first MAC Freedom win of the season.

Prior to the start of the game, the Knights honored their graduating class of Hannah McAllister, Kira Bochard, Michaella Merklin, Gabby Green, Morgan Giordano and Brianna Crowley.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Knights opened the scoring as Bochard found the back of the net off a set piece. Rachael Mahlau-Heinert sent the free kick into the box and Bochard headed it past the FDU goalkeeper to give Arcadia a 1-0 lead. 
• Coming out of halftime with the lead, the Knights extended their lead to 2-0 as Amanda Thaler scored in the 49th minute. Giordano recorded her first assist of the night as she crossed the ball into the box, which Thaler got on the end of.
• Giordano tallied her second assist of the night as she played a ball that found Caroline Weirich. Weirich then dribbled into the box and scored to give Arcadia a 3-0 lead. 
• FDU-Florham got a goal back through a penalty kick in the 74th minute.
