Box Score COLMAR, Pa. - The Arcadia University men's ice hockey team dropped its afternoon contest to Aurora, 6-3, on Saturday at Hatfield Ice Arena.
First-year forward James Spaargaren scored the first goal in program history in the first period to tie the game at one. Dylan Infantino had the assist on the history-making goal.
Goaltender Lucas Brine made 38 saves in the loss.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Aurora opened the scoring in the first period before Spaargaren tied the score at one. The teams entered the first intermission tied at one.

Spaargaren scored his second of the game while Arcadia was shorthanded. Kyle Peters found Spaargaren breaking out of the zone and the first-year forward found the back of the net to give the Knights a 2-1 lead.

Aurora scored a shorthanded goal of its own, and then scored its third of the game on even strength to hold a 3-2 lead going into the second intermission.

Carson Asper scored his first of the season less than four minutes into the third period to tie the score at three.

Aurora scored three unanswered goals to take the victory, 6-3.
