GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's tennis team picked up its second-straight dual match victory in Saturday's home-opener, defeating visiting Hood 7-2.
Casey Boldt and
Emily Cruz-Pineda put together strong efforts both at singles and doubles, as the duo put together an 8-1 win at second doubles before Boldt got the win at fourth singles (6-1, 6-2) and Cruz-Pineda locked in a victory at third singles (6-2, 6-2) to lead the Knights.
DOUBLES RESULTS

Tess Weber and
Julia Paraboschi dropped their first doubles match, 1-8.

Emily Cruz-Pineda and
Casey Boldt cruised to an 8-1 victory at second doubles.
SINGLES RESULTS
-Weber fell in her first singles match, 1-6, 2-6,
-Paraboschi won her first set 6-3 before falling in the second, but rallied for a 10-4 win in the tiebreaker to pick up the victory at second singles.
-Cruz-Pineda won in straight sets at third singles, 6-2, 6-2.
-Boldt was also victorious in straight sets at fourth, 6-1, 6-2.
