Field Hockey Stumbles at William Paterson

WAYNE, NJ - The Arcadia University field hockey team fell to William Paterson, 2-1, on Thursday afternoon. Autumn Gahman tallied her team-high fourth goal of the season in the second quarter, but William Paterson responded with two second-half tallies to defeat the Knights.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Gracie Fenner made three saves in the first quarter and fought through five penalty corners to keep William Paterson scoreless. The reigning MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week ended the contest with a game-high seven saves.

- Gahman tallied the game's first goal following a penalty corner in the second quarter. Lindsay Kuss played the corner attempt to Carly Flickinger at the top of the zone, who then connected with Gahman on the left side of the cage. Gahman's strike found the back of the cage for her fourth goal of the season.

- William Paterson tied-up the game late in the third quarter, before taking the lead early in the fourth quarter. William Paterson tallied six shots on goal in the fourth quarter, while the Knights only attempted one.
