GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's volleyball team ran its win streak to four Saturday afternoon in Alumni Gymnasium, sweeping a tri-match against Rosemont and Penn State Abington with both victories coming in straight sets.
Michelle Frank totaled a team-high 19 kills across the two matches, while
Mandy Singleton provided three service aces in each match to pace the Knights.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Knights carried Friday night's momentum into the first set Saturday, earning seven of the first eight points powered by kills from Frank and
Nicole Dallara. Leading 18-11 in the latter stages of the set, the Knights ripped off a 7-0 run the rest of the way to take the opener, 25-11, as Frank produced three kills during that stretch.
-Arcadia kept the pressure on with seven-consecutive points to open the second set highlighted by three Singleton service aces.
Taylor Trapp had a pair of kills in the dominant 25-15 second set victory.
-Rosemont took its first lead of the match early on in the third set, but the Knights stormed back with a 5-0 run to regain the lead and never looked back as an ensuing 7-0 run followed that concluded with Arcadia reaching match point.
Katie Paoli and
Danielle Fedorchak each had three kills in the 25-17 match-clinching victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Knights and Nittany Lions matched each other stride for stride to begin the first set, resulting in a one-point, 9-8 Arcadia lead. Arcadia put some distance between their counterpart with a 5-0 run as Dallara logged a pair of aces before the Knights won eight of the set's final 11 points to take the opener, 25-16.
-The second set had a similar feel as the two sides once again arrived at a 9-8 score before an Arcadia run created separation - this time coming as a run of nine-straight Knight points. Frank accounted for five of those points via kills, while Estefania Martinez-Sola added two service aces. The Knights led by as many as 12 in the set before a Martinez-Sola kill capped off the 25-15 victory.
-Although the Knights never trailed in the third set, the Nittany Lions made things interesting by drawing even with Arcadia at 13-all in the middle stages. The Knights responded by putting the match away with a swift 7-0 run with kills from three different players before Paoli capped the weekend sweep with another kill.
