GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University field hockey team blanked Immaculata, 7-0, on Thursday night at Jean Lenox West Field. After a scoreless opening quarter, the Knights found their offensive stride, scoring all of their goals in the final three quarters.  

Both Samantha Jacona and Autumn Gahman found the back of the net twice. Lindsay Kuss tallied three assists in the Arcadia victory. The Knights' defense did not allow a single shot in the shutout win.

• Even though Arcadia didn't score a goal in the first quarter, the Knights earned four penalty corners and four shots in the frame. 

• Jacona got Arcadia on the board early in the second quarter, taking just 21 seconds to get the Knights on the board. Morganne Dee took advantage of a late penalty corner as she gave the Knights a 2-0 lead with 33 seconds left before halftime.  

• Arcadia scored three goals in the third quarter as Morgan McEntire, Jacona and Bridget Buckmaster all scored to give the Knights a 5-0 lead at the end of the stanza.  

• Gahman scored both of her goals in the final quarter to stretch the Knights lead to the winning margin of 7-0.
