Szelag Makes 48 Saves in Women's Ice Hockey's Loss to #7 Nazareth

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Arcadia University women's ice hockey team fell to No. 7 Nazareth, 5-0, on Friday night in Rochester.  

First-year goaltender Sophia Szelag made 48 saves in the Knights' loss.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

  • The Golden Flyers scored two goals less than three minutes apart to take a 2-0 lead into the first intermission.  

  • Nazareth scored three goals in the second period to extend its lead to 5-0. The teams played a scoreless third period to seal the 5-0 score line.
