Men's Ice Hockey Falls in Conference Game to Nazareth

COLMAR, Pa. - The Arcadia University men's ice hockey team fell to Nazareth, 7-2 on Friday night in UCHC action at Hatfield Ice Arena.  

First-year goaltender Jeb Lindy made his first career start for the Knights. The Covington, Ky. native made 34 saves in his debut. First-year forwards Dylan Florit and James Spaargaren recorded multi-point games, tallying two assists each.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

  • The Golden Flyers scored two goals in the opening period to take a 2-0 lead into the first intermission.  

  • The lone goal of the second period was a shorthanded goal scored by Josh Muzljakovich. The goal was his first goal and first point of his college career.  

  • The third period saw Nazareth scored five goals, including an empty netter. Pallen Brooks scored a goal late in the period for Arcadia, but the Golden Flyers picked up the 7-2 win.
