ARLINGTON, Va. - The Arcadia University men's volleyball team opened its season with a doubleheader against Penn State Behrend and Marymount. The Knights defeated Penn State Behrend in four sets, but fell to Marymound in three.

The Knights took an early 11-6 lead. After a 3-0 run from the Lions, Arcadia answered back with a 3-0 run of its own, which gave them a 14-9 lead. The Lions won three consecutive points to cut the Knight lead to two, but Arcadia held on to tie the match at one.
