POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - The Arcadia University men's volleyball team fell to No. 3 Vassar, 3-0, on Sunday afternoon.  

Owen Heft had nine kills in the match and Anthony Devantier dished out 22 assists for the Knights.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

Set 1: Vassar 25, Arcadia 22 

• The score was tied at seven through the early parts of the opening set. The Knights trailed by five in the middle part of the set, but they won six of the next seven points to tie the score at 19. Vassar would go on a 4-1 run after that point and would hold on to take a 1-0 lead in the match. 

Set 2: Vassar 25, Arcadia 16 

• The Knights led 4-3 in the set, but that was the last advantage they held in the frame as Vassar used multiple runs to open up a lead and win the set to take a 2-0 advantage.  

Set 3: Vassar 25, Arcadia 18 

• The teams traded points early in the set. Arcadia led 12-11, but Vassar outscored the Knights 14-6 to finish the set to win the match in three sets.
