Brook Scores in Third Consecutive Game; Men's Soccer Ties DeSales

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Arcadia University men's soccer team tied DeSales, 1-1, on Thursday afternoon in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play. 

The Knights record moves to 6-4-4 overall and 0-2-1 in the MAC Freedom.  

Senior midfielder Matt Brook scored for the third consecutive game. He now has four goals on the season, the second-most on the team.  

Goalkeeper Jake Varrato made five saves in the draw.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

  • Brook opened the scoring in the 19th minute with a strike from outside the box that snuck inside the left post to give Arcadia a 1-0 lead.  

  • DeSales scored the tying goal in the 71st minute.
