Men's Soccer Beats Delaware Valley, 1-0 on Senior Day

GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia University men's soccer team earned a 1-0 victory over Delaware Valley in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) action on Saturday afternoon at Jean Lenox West Field.  

With the win, Arcadia improved to 8-4-5 overall and 2-2-2 in conference play.  

Chris Fletcher scored his second goal of the season in the second half to give the Knights the victory. 

The Knights outshot Delaware Valley 28-0 in the win, including 12-0 in shots on goal.

HOW IT HAPPENED 

  • After a scoreless first half that was controlled by Arcadia, the Knights broke through in the 70th minute. Ashton Davis sent a ball into the box that found Fletcher, who headed it past the Delaware Valley goalkeeper for a 1-0 lead.
