GLENSIDE - Four second half goals helped the Arcadia University women's soccer team to a 5-0 senior day win over Delaware Valley University in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play at Jean Lenox West Field on Saturday afternoon.
Caroline Weirich,
Taylor Gubler,
Jaclyn Forshay, Courtney Keenher, and
Kylee Shea were the goal scorers for the Knights.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-Weirich scored the lone goal of the first half in the seventh minute after Delaware Valley committed a foul in the box giving Arcadia a penalty kick which Weirich converted.
-Gubler doubled the lead in the 53rd minute with an assist from
Amanda Thaler.
-Forshay found the back of the net in the 60th minute with an assist from Weirich.
-Keenher got in the goal column in the 71st minute assisted by
Isabella Pures.
-Shea finished the scoring in the 81st minute with a helper from Keenher.
-
Abby Fuchs earned the clean sheet with six saves.
