GLENSIDE - Morganne Dee continued her electric play, sending the Arcadia University field hockey team to its fifth-straight victory, a 3-2 overtime thriller against Widener University in non-conference action on Wednesday evening at Jean Lenox West Field.
Caeley LeTersky and
Morgan McEntire were the first two goal scorers of the night for the Knights.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- LeTersky opened the scoring in the 45th minute with an assist to
Regan Sammons.
-Widener evened the score in the 47th minute.
-The Pride took their first lead in the 55th minute.
-McEntire scored off a penalty corner 26 seconds later with an assist from Sammons.
-The game went to overtime, where McEntire took a shot off a penalty corner in the 65th minute that was deflected past the goalkeeper by Dee, sending both the team and the fans into a frenzy.
