COLMAR, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's ice hockey team tied, 4-4, with Chatham on Friday night at Hatfield Ice Arena. The Cougars prevailed in the shootout to earn the extra United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) point.
The Knights record moves to 0-2-1 overall and in UCHC play.
Morganne Dee found the back of the net twice for Arcadia. Berklee Hibbard and Hannah O'Rourke also scored for the Knights.
Jo Coates made 33 saves for the Knights in the tie.

Chatham scored two goals in the first two-plus minutes of the game to take an early lead.

Arcadia got one back before the end of the first period as Hibbard scored to cut the Knights' deficit to 2-1. Dee recorded the assist.

Arcadia scored three goals in the second period to take the lead. Dee got the first on the power play to tie the game at two. Karahkwenhawe White and Haylee Kos tallied the assists. Hannah O'Rourke gave the Knights the lead with her first career goal. Ariel Williamson recorded the assist. Dee scored her second of the period to extend Arcadia's lead to 4-2. Drew Kuretsky had the assist on the goal.

Nazareth scored two goals in the third period to tie the game.

A scoreless overtime period led to a shootout where Nazareth prevailed in the eighth round.
