GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's basketball team dropped the latest installment of the Battle of 309, falling 76-47 at Gwynedd Mercy University in non-conference play on Tuesday evening. Hanna Rhoades led all scorers with 17 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Gwynedd Mercy jumped out to a 9-2 lead before the Knights closed the gap with back-to-back three-pointers from Rhoades and Mara Weaver to make the deficit 9-8 with just under five minutes eclipsed in the first quarter. The Griffins closed the period on a 7-0 run, leading 16-8 after one.

-Gwynedd Mercy outscored Arcadia 22-18 in the second quarter as the Knights entered halftime facing a 38-26 deficit.

-The Griffins outscored Arcadia 27-10 in the third quarter to seal the victory.
