HUNTINGDON, Pa. - Leading 39-38 after three quarters, a four-point fourth quarter was the difference as the Arcadia University women's basketball team fell by a 56-42 final at Juniata College in non-conference action on Tuesday evening.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-
Scarlett Glasser-Nehls got the Knights on the board with a three-pointer 13 seconds into the game.
-Juniata went on a 12-0 run after the bucket before the run ended on a
Mara Weaver three-pointer with 5:25 on the clock.
-Arcadia cut the deficit to 16-14 to end the first quarter.
-The Knights began the second quarter on a 4-0 run, taking an 18-16 advantage. Arcadia trailed 30-29 heading into halftime.
-The Knights outscored the Eagles 9-7 in the third quarter, holding a 38-37 lead as the game moved into the final 10 minutes.
-Arcadia was 1-14 from the floor in the fourth as it was outscored 19-4 in the final stanza.
