SELINSGROVE, Pa. - The Arcadia University men's basketball team fell in its season-opener at Susquehanna University by a 68-48 final in non-conference play on Wednesday evening.

Jalen Watkins each finished with a team-high 13 points in their 2022-23 debuts.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Knights started the game with three straight layups as they looks to push the pace, utilizing a full-court press early in the contest.
-After a 
Dave Leh three-pointer to make the score 14-10 with just under 12 minutes left in the first half, the River Hawks used a 17-2 run to take a 27-16 lead with 5:48 on the clock. 
-Arcadia closed the opening stanza on an 11-3 run to cut the deficit to 30-27 entering halftime.
-Susquehanna went on a 14-4 run to open the second half, taking a 44-31 lead with 14 minutes on the clock.
-The Knights were unable to close the gap as the contest concluded.
