WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Arcadia University men's basketball team earned its first Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) victory on Saturday afternoon with a 77-68 win at King's College.
Justin Money led all scorers with 18 points while Tre DiGuglielmo had a career-high 14 points and
Dom Vazquez added 13 points.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Three-pointers from Money,
Darius Isaac, and DiGuglielmo, and a jumper from
Jalen Watkins helped the Knights race out to an 11-1 lead 3:14 into the contest.
-
Josh Parks got three-points with a layup and a free throw to give Arcadia a 15-point advantage at 26-11 with 9:55 on the clock.
-King's went on a 21-3 run over the next six minutes to take a 32-29 lead but the Knights finished the half outscoring the Monarchs 9-1, leading 38-33 going into halftime.
-After King's hit a three to begin the second half, Arcadia used a 16-6 streak to go up 54-42 with 13:18 left in the game.
-The Monarchs trimmed the advantage to 62-59 with 6:04 left but the Knights outscored King's 15-9 the rest of the way to secure the victory.

-Arcadia's 10 turnovers were its second-fewest this season.
-The Knights 77 points tied their season-high from November 22nd at Penn State-Abington.
