GLENSIDE - 44 combined points from
Scarlett Glasser-Nehls and
Hanna Rhoades helped lead the Arcadia University women's basketball team to a 65-47 non-conference victory over Rutgers-Camden inside Alumni Gymnasium on Wednesday evening. Glasser-Nehls finished with a game-high 20 while Rhoades added 14 off the bench.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Knights raced out to a 15-2 lead through the first five-and-a-half minutes of the first quarter, ending the frame with a 23-5 advantage.
-The Scarlet Raptors outscored Arcadia 18-13 in the second as the Knights entered halftime holding a 36-23 lead.
-Rutgers-Camden outpaced Arcadia 13-5 in the third to trim the advantage to 41-36 after getting as close as three points at 39-36 with 2:39 in the third.
-After the Scarlet Raptors scored the first two points of the fourth to make the score 41-38, three consecutive three-pointers from Glasser-Nehls and one from
Mara Weaver sparked a 19-2 run making the score 60-40 with 3:46 on the clock, helping the Knights secure the victory.
