All Starters Reach Double-Figures as Men's Basketball Downs Lycoming
 
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – All five starters finished in double-figures for scoring as the Arcadia University men's basketball team won its fifth straight contest, 79-73 over Lycoming College in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) action on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Knights improved to 10-5 in league play and 11-13 overall with the victory.
 
Nas Johnson got Arcadia on the board with a three-pointer 29 seconds into the game. The Knights trailed 15—14 with 13:43 left until halftime using a 6-0 run to take a 20-15 lead with 12:39 until the break. Arcadia took its largest advantage of the first half right at the end as two Justin Money free throws helped the Knights end the half with a nine-point cushion at 46-37.
 
Arcadia began the second stanza on a 9-1 run, gaining a 55-38 lead with 16:05 on the clock. The Knights lead was trimmed to five with 1:38 on the clock after a 16-3 run by the Warriors made the score 67-62, but Arcadia converted its free throws to close out the victory.
 
Money led the way with 18 points and six rebounds. Jalen Watkins finished with 15 points and eight rebounds, Gabe Kier added 14 points, Samuel Majekodunmi contributed 11 points and five assists while Johnson rounded out the double-figure scorers with 10 points.
 
Dyson Howard led Lycoming with 22 points and 15 rebounds. Mo Terry, Steven Hamilton, and DeAundre Manuel all finished with double-digit point totals for the Warriors.
 
The Knights return to the court on Saturday to close out the regular season with a 3:00 p.m. MAC Freedom contest against King's College inside Alumni Gymnasium. Prior to the game, Arcadia will honor the seniors playing their final regular-season home game.
