Box Score MADISON, N.J. - The Arcadia University women's basketball team used a strong second half performance to top FDU-Florham, 61-49 on Wednesday night.
The Knights outscored the Devils by 17 in the second half, including a 21-9 edge in the fourth quarter to complete the second half comeback. The win is Arcadia's seventh in the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) this season.
Julia Makowski scored 16 second half points en route to a 17-point performance in the victory. Holly Daveski recorded her second career double-double as she added 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Knights led by as much as three in the opening quarter, but FDU-Florham made three free throws at the end of the quarter to tie the score at 10 going into the quarter break.

FDU-Florham began the second quarter on a 7-0 run, and continued that momentum throughout the frame as the Devils led 25-20 going into halftime.

The Devils extended their lead to 11 just over a minute into the third quarter. The Knights answered back with an 8-2 run to cut their deficit to five. After FDU-Florham ended that run, Arcadia went on an 11-0 run to take a 39-36 lead. The teams went into the final quarter tied at 40.

The final quarter was tightly contested between the two teams until Julia Makowski made seven free throws over the final 37 seconds to seal the double-digit win for the Knights.
