Women's Tennis Falls 6-3 in Conference Opener to Lycoming
GLENSIDE – The Arcadia University women's tennis team opened the 2022 Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) slate with a 6-3 defeat to Lycoming College at Weiss Courts on Saturday afternoon.
The Knights stand at 0-2 overall and 0-1 in conference play.
The team of Julia Paraboschi and Kate Wyszkowski took No. 1 doubles by an 8-6 final.
Tatum Marino and Faith Rineer fell in No. 2 doubles 5-8.
Paraboschi and Marino took the No. 1 and No. 4 singles matches to a deciding set but were unable to secure the victory.
Arcadia returns to the court on Wednesday when it will host DeSales University for a 3:30 p.m. MAC Freedom match.
