MADISON, N.J. - The Arcadia University men's lacrosse team clinched a spot in the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) tournament with its victory over FDU-Florham, 21-5.
The Knights won their eighth straight game, improving their record to 10-3 and 6-0 in MAC Freedom play.
11 different Knights found the back of the net in the victory, and seven scored multiple goals, led by Landan Hajek's career-high five goals. Brady Manion was the top point-getter for the Knights as he scored two goals and dished out four assists for six points.
Timmy Fyock picked up the victory in net for the Knights as he made three saves in 30 minutes of action. Cole Dexter and Mike DiRenzo also saw action in net for Arcadia.

The Knights scored the first eight goals of the game, as Kyle McLaughlin, Brady Manion, Alex Adamczyk, Hajek (2), Justin Chinici, Brian Albertsen and Billy Burton all scored for Arcadia. FDU-Florham added one before the end of the quarter to cut the Arcadia lead to 8-1.

Arcadia shutout the Devils in the second quarter, 5-0. Wesley Sporer, Chinici, Hajek, Manion and Sean Connolly all found the back of the net to extend the Knights lead to 13-1 after one half of play.

Brady Wied, Chase Stephens, Sporer and Hajek scored the opening four goals of the second half for Arcadia to extend its lead to 17-1. FDU-Florham scored one before the end of the quarter to cut its deficit to 17-2.

FDU-Florham scored the first goal of the final quarter, but the Knights answered with two straight goals from Hajek and Stephens. The Devils scored two consecutive goals, but the Knights scored the final two goals, which were scored by Connolly and Wied, to close out the Knights' 21-5 victory.
