Women's Lacrosse Falls on Senior Day
GLENSIDE – The Arcadia University women's lacrosse team concluded the 2022 season with a 13-3 loss to Misericordia University in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom play on Saturday afternoon.
The Knights finish the season 4-4 in league play and 7-10 overall, missing out on the conference championship in a tiebreaker.
Misericordia registered the first 11 goals of the game.
Ashley Starkey got Arcadia on the board with 5:55 left in the third quarter followed by an unassisted tally from
Maddie Ruger with 1:39 left on the third quarter clock.
Starkey finished the scoring for the Knights with an unassisted score with 10:39 left in the game.
Emily Griffith made seven saves over the first three quarters before being replaced by
Mariya Occorso, who made one stop.
