Men's Tennis Takes Down Penn State Brandywine
MEDIA, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's tennis team took down Penn State Brandywine by a 7-2 final on the road Saturday afternoon.
The Knights improved to 3-1 on the season.
Arcadia took two doubles matches as
Elias Duthinh and
Jonathan Noble won at No. 1 8-4 and
Francis Tamesis and
Matthew Nagy captured No. 2 8-2.
Duthinh topped Tanuj Gaikwad at No. 1 singles 6-1, 7-6 while Noble bested Santiago Martinez at No. 2 singles 6-1, 6-0.
Tamesis earned the win at No. 3 singles 6-0, 6-0 and Nagy captured No. 4 singles 6-1, 6-2 while
David Cassel rounded out the wins in a tie-breaker at No. 6 singles, 1-6, 6-4, 10-8.
The Knights return to the court on Wednesday when they host FDU-Florham for a 3:30 p.m. Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) match.
