GLENSIDE, Pa. - The top-seeded No. 7/10 Arcadia University baseball team is set to host second-seeded Misericordia in the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) Championship Series at Skip Wilson Field on May 13-14.

ABOUT THE KNIGHTS
The Knights defeated fourth-seeded DeSales last weekend in the MAC Freedom Semifinal Series last weekend to make their second conference championship appearance in the last four years.
Arcadia is led at the plate by junior shortstop Alex Madera, who is hitting .442 with 68 hits and 24 RBI's. He has stole a program-record 34 bases in 2022, and has scored 54 runs for the Knights. Connor Cheeseman leads the Knights in RBI's with 43 and was the hero for Arcadia in the conference semifinal series as he had a walk off single in the bottom of the ninth in game three against DeSales to advance the Knights to the championship series. As a team, Arcadia leads the conference in batting average with a .316.
On the mound, the Knights are led by right-handed reliever Owen Margolis who enters this weekend with a 9-0 record and a 1.57 ERA, both of which lead the conference. He also has nine saves, which leads the conference as well. Margolis played a major role for the Knights in their semifinal series with DeSales as he pitched seven shutout innings across two appearances. He only allowed one hit in 4.2 innings in Arcadia's game two win, picking up the save. He came back in game three and pitched 2.1 innings, earning the pivotal win for the Knights. As a team, Arcadia has the lowest team ERA in the conference with a 4.39.
