SCRANTON, Pa. - Regan Sammons scored twice, but the Arcadia University field hockey team fell in overtime by a 4-3 final at the University of Scranton, who is receiving votes in the latest Penn Montco/NFHCA Division III National Poll on Saturday afternoon.
Clara Lacek also got on the board for the Knights.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Sammons opened the scoring just 53 seconds into the game with an assist from
Caeley LeTersky.
- Scranton took the lead with three straight goals.
- Sammons closed the gap to 3-2 with 32 seconds left in the third quarter, assisted by Lacek.
- Lacek scored her first collegiate goal 1:25 into the fourth quarter to send the game into overtime.
- The Royals scored 2:12 into overtime to end the game.
