NEWARK, N.J. - Amanda Thaler netter a goal and an assist to back another solid defensive performance as the Arcadia University women's soccer team earned its second straight victory, a 3-0 clean sheet against William Paterson University on Sunday afternoon.
Caroline Weirich and
Abby Stephens joined Thaler in the goal column for the Knights.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Weirich opened the scoring in the fifth minute when Thaler found her for the goal.
- Thaler doubled the advantage in the 27th minute with an unassisted score.
- Stephens finished the scoring with an unassisted tally in the 49th minute.

Abby Fuchs and
Amelia Orr combined for four saves to earn the shutout.
- The Knights outshot the Pioneers 23-6, with an 11-4 advantage in shots on goal.
