GLENSIDE - The Arcadia University women's soccer team ran its undefeated streak to five games on Saturday, battling Farmingdale State College to a 2-2 tie at Jean Lenox West Field in non-conference play on Saturday afternoon.
Taylor Gubler and
Madi Mortelliti notched the two goals on the day for the Knights.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Gubler got Arcadia on the board in the eighth minute when a pass deflected off a defender right to her, putting a breakaway shot into the lower left corner.
-The Rams tied the score in the 10th minute, which is where the score stood entering halftime.
- Mortelliti gave the Knights the lead back in the 50th minute with an assist from
Abby Stephens with a shot into the top left corner.
- Farmingdale State tied the score again in the 52nd minute.
- Arcadia outshot the Rams 17-12, with seven hitting the target compared to three for Farmingdale State.
