Women's Basketball Falls to No. 17 Stevens

GLENSIDE - The Arcadia University women's basketball team fell by an 83-62 final to in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play to Stevens Institute of Technology on Wednesday evening inside Alumni Gymnasium. Stevens is currently the No. 17 team in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Top 25 poll. Mara Weaver led the Knights with 16 points while Abby Beam added 11.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Arcadia began the game on a 6-2 run with back-to-back three-pointer from Dayna Balasa.

-The quarter was closely contested as the Ducks led 22-20 after ten minutes.

-Arcadia entered halftime trailing 41-20.

-The Knights began the third on a 17-8 run to get the deficit to 12 at 49-37 with 3:34 on the clock, but was unable to catch Stevens.
