Dee's Five Points Pushes Women's Ice Hockey Past Neumann

COLMAR, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's ice hockey team rolled past Neumann, 6-0, on Friday night at Hatfield Ice Arena.
 
With the win, the Knights improve to 7-7-2 overall and 3-6-2 in United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) play.
 
Morganne Dee led Arcadia's attack with three goals and two assists for five points. Her three goals and five points are both new career highs.

Maeve Hourihan and Ariel Williamson also both had multi-point efforts as Hourihan had three points on a goal and two assists and Williamson found the back of the net twice.
 
Hannah Bergeron stopped all 16 shots she faced as she earned her third shutout of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Knights got on the board just over two and a half minutes into the game as Hourihan scored her fourth goal of the season. Dee tallied her first assist of the night on the goal. Arcadia extended its lead to 2-0 later in the period as Williamson scored on the power play. Dee and Karahkwenhawe White had the assists on the goal
  • Dee scored two consecutive goals just under five minutes apart from each other in the second period to extend the Arcadia lead to 4-0. Mairead O'Connell and Hourihan had the helpers on Dee's first goal. Williamson scored her second of the night, also on the power play to give the Knights a 5-0 lead. Abbi Komrofske had the assist on the score.
  • Dee finished off the scoring as she scored just over two minutes into the final period to seal the win. Hourihan had the assist on the goal.
