BUENA VISTA, VA. – The Arcadia University men's volleyball team fell to No. 12 Southern Virginia University (SVU) in three sets on Friday night.
The Knights fell to 0-3 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Set 1: Southern Virginia 25, Arcadia 19
Arcadia kept the match close until SVU went on a 7-1 run. The Knights put in a valiant effort towards the end of the set as they scored 5 unanswered points to come within one point of SVU, however the opponents answered back with a 5-0-point run to win the set.
Set 2: Southern Virginia 25, Arcadia 14
SVU scored 7 of the first 10 points to give them an early lead. The Knights tallied a few big kills, but SVU pulled out the 25 points to take the set.
Set 1: Southern Virginia 25, Arcadia 19
SVU went on a 5-0 run early in the set which led to them winning the match in three sets.
