GLENSIDE - Justin Money became the 16th member of the 1,000 point club as the Arcadia University men's basketball team defeated Cabrini University 74-65 in non-conference action from Alumni Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.
FOR THE RECORD
-Arcadia moved to 2-0 on the season.
-Cabrini fell to 0-2.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Knights began the game on a 10-2 run through the first six minutes.
-Arcadia's lead got as high as 19 points with a 27-8 lead with six minutes left in the first half.
-Cabrini finished the half on a 16-5 run, cutting the advantage to 32-24 at the break.
-The Cavaliers trimmed the lead to 36-33 two minutes into the second half.
-The Knights used an 8-0 run to go back up 44-33 with 16:42 on the clock.
-Arcadia was able to cruise to the victory in the final ten minutes.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
-Arcadia won the rebound battle 45-31.
-The Knights were much improved from the free throw line, hitting 85 percent (17-20) of their attempts.
NOTES
-This is the Knights first 2-0 start since a 3-0 beginning to the abbreviated 2020-21 season.
