COLMAR - The Arcadia University women's ice hockey team suffered its first defeat of the 2023-24 season, falling 1-0 to Alvernia University in United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) play from Hatfield Ice Arena on Saturday evening,

-Arcadia and Alvernia are both 4-1-0 overall and 3-1-0 in conference play after today's contest.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-Alvernia got the only goal of the game with two-and-a-half minutes left in the second period.
-The Knights hit the post multiple times and outshot the Golden Wolves 41-12 but were unable to solve Alvernia's goaltender.
