Men's Ice Hockey Picks Up Conference Win Over Lebanon Valley

COLMAR, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's ice hockey team used four different goal scorers to take down Lebanon Valley, 4-3, on Saturday afternoon at Hatfield Ice Arena.
 
The Knights are now 1-4-2 in United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) action.
 
Connor Williams, Aaron Hamel, Mike Kocsis and Dylan Florit all scored for Arcadia in the victory. Jeb Lindy got the start in net for the Knights and made a season-high 41 saves in his first win of the year.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Williams got the Knights on the board early in the game as he beat the Dutchmen goaltender just 58 seconds into the contest.
  • Lebanon Valley tied the game with a power play goal with less than five minutes remaining in the opening period, but Hamel scored a power play goal of his own to give Arcadia a 2-1 lead. The Dutchmen added a shorthanded goal before the end of the opening frame to tie the game at two heading into the first intermission.
  • Kocsis scored the lone goal of the second period, which also came on the power play to give Arcadia a 3-2 lead heading into the final 20 minutes of play.
  • Florit scored just over five minutes into the third period to extend the Knights' lead to 4-2.
  • Lebanon Valley scored a man advantage goal to cut its deficit to 4-3, but Lindy made 20 saves in the third period to give Arcadia a big conference win.
