Game Recap: Women's Basketball |

Rhoades Sets New Three-Point Record: Women's Basketball 5-0 for First Time since 2013-14

IMMACULATA, Pa. - Hanna Rhoades came off the bench to shoot the lights out, hitting 9-of-11 three-pointers, setting a new single-game record in the process as the Arcadia University women's basketball team moved to 5-0 for the first time since 2013-14 with a 76-61 non-conference win at Immaculata University on Wednesday evening.

The Knights also set a new single-game team record with 17 made three-pointers.

FOR THE RECORD
The Knights improved to 5-0 while the Mighty Macs fell to 2-5.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The two teams battled back and forth as Arcadia led 22-21 after one quarter.

-Leading 31-30 with 3:29 left in the second, an old-fashioned three-point play from Katie Rodriguez and a Kylie Meredith layup gave the Knights a 36-30 lead going into halftime.

-Immaculata hit a three-pointer to begin the third, cutting the lead in half, but back-to-back threes from Rhoades gave Arcadia a 42-33 lead with 8:29 on the clock.

-The Mighty Macs hit two free throws to cut the lead back to seven, but back-to-back-to back three pointers from Rhoades (x2) and Mara Weaver pushed the lead to 51-35 at 6:13 in the third.

-After entering the third with a six-point lead, the Knights ended the ten minutes holding a 62-44 advantage.

-Arcadia's lead never sank below 15 in the fourth en route to the victory.
