GLENSIDE. – The Arcadia University women's swim team dropped match to Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) competition Messiah University 146 to 116 on Friday night. The Knights are now 1-2 overall and in conference.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Julia Stephens earned herself three individual wins in the 50-yd freestyle (25.66) 100-yd freestyle (56.16), and the 200-yd freestyle (2:02.95). She also was a member of the 2nd place 200-yd medley relay squad along with
Risa Krauss,
Ava Despeaux, and
Mikayla Scardino. Her 100 free time is the best in the conference so far.
- Krauss touched the wall first in the 100-yd breaststroke with a season best time of 1:09.82. This is the fourth best breaststroke time in MAC this season. Krauss dropped over four seconds off of her season best in the 500-yd freestyle (5:55.94) for a second-place finish.
- Despeaux recorded her first collegiate win in the 200-yd individual medley with a time of 2:23.07.
- Scardino finished second in the 50-yd freestyle (25.87), 100-yd freestyle (56.77), and the 100-yd butterfly (1:04.21).

Kylie Perry dropped 10 seconds off of her previous season best 1000-yd freestyle time with a 12:01.95 finish.
