COLMAR, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's ice hockey team scored a season high in goals in its 7-1 victory over Franklin Pierce on Saturday afternoon at Hatfield Ice Arena.
The Knights close out the first half of the season with a 5-7-2 record.
Wesley Crofoot and
Mike Kocsis each had two goals in the victory.
Cody Mastay,
CJ Bachman and
Dylan Florit each added a goal as well. Crofoot and Bachman's goals were the first of their careers.
Florit and Kocsis each had five points for the Knights, which are both career highs.
Ryan Burgess made a career-high 52 saves in the victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Knights had a hot start as they scored three goals in the first period through Mastay, Bachman and Crofoot.
- Crofoot and Kocsis had the first two goals of the middle period to extend Arcadia's lead to 5-0. The Ravens scored with less than three minutes left in the second frame to get on the board, but Kocsis scored his second goal of the period to extend the Knights lead to 6-1 after 40 minutes of play.
- Florit scored a power play goal in the third period to seal the Knights victory.
