GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's lacrosse team fell to Elizabethtown, 23-13 in its season opener on Wednesday night at Jean Lenox West Field.
Landan Hajek led the Knights attack with four goals.
Kyle McLaughlin added three more in the loss.
Nathaniel Hudgins made his first career start and made 10 saves.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Blue Jays scored the first two goals of the game, but Hajek scored the next two to tie the game at two. Elizabethtown then went on another 2-0 run, but The Knights answered with three consecutive goals to take a 5-4 lead. The Blue Jays scored the final two goals of the quarter to take a 6-5 lead after the opening frame.
- Elizabethtown scored all seven goals in the second quarter to take a 13-5 lead going into halftime.
- The Blue Jays outscored the Knights, 9-3, in the third quarter to extend their lead to 22-8.
- After Elizabethtown scored the first goal of the final quarter, the Knights finished the game on a 5-0 run, with goals from McLaughlin (3), Brian Albertsen and Hajek.
