CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The Arcadia University women's basketball team, the No. 5 seed in the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) Championships, fell by a 64-54 final at No. 1 DeSales University on Wednesday evening.
Delaney Bell led the Knights with 15 points whiles
Hanna Rhoades added 14.
The score was the second closest any conference opponent has played DeSales this year outside of the Bulldogs lone loss of the year to Stevens.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-Arcadia began the game strong, trailing 15-12 at the end of the first quarter.
-Rhoades opened the second quarter with a three-pointer to tie the score before DeSales used a 6-0 run to take a 21-15 lead.Â
-The Knights entered halftime holding a 27-26 advantage.
-With the Bulldogs leading 37-36, DeSales used an 8-0 run to take a 45-36 lead, leading 47-41 after three quarters.
-The Bulldogs pulled away in the fourth.
